We are often asked these questions. What fish are biting in Amelia Island? What is the best bait for fishing? What is the best season for offshore fishing? Amelia Island boasts numerous opportunities for fishing enthusiasts who seek great catches close to shore. The island is surrounded by jetties, rivers, inlets, and saltwater estuaries, providing excellent locations to catch a variety of fish, such as redfish, flounder, sheepshead, and speckled trout. Captain Kenny and his crew are available to assist in catching your desired Florida fish, selecting the best saltwater baits such as sea worms, eels, crabs, shrimp, squid strips, and cut-up pieces of fish, depending on your target species. For those who want to go deep sea fishing for medium and larger fish, the best time is in June or July, with less competition in June and more in July. It's best to book your Amelia Island fishing charters in advance as these dates tend to get booked quickly.

We provide exciting Florida fishing trips in the St. Mary's area, specifically focusing on two types of trips: Jetty Fishing and Sound Fishing.
